Criacao Shinjuku's "Player-Designed Goods Series" features items planned and produced by the team's players.Following last year's great success, #50 Tatsuya Okamoto has produced a huarache sandal!As last year, this is a collaboration with BB Huarache Shohkai in Shinjuku-ku.

Comment from Tatsuya Okamoto (#50)

　"I was wondering what to do with the huaraches this year, and I received many requests from people saying, 'Aren't you doing it this year?' and 'My size sold out last year, so I couldn't buy them, but this year I really want to!' So I decided to create the 2025ver., and it's finally complete!
　The 2025ver. has the Criacao emblem engraved on a wooden piece. When a paracord is threaded through the hole in the wooden piece, the Criacao emblem subtly peeks out. (I wanted to incorporate the Criacao emblem into the huaraches, but I was hesitant to step on the precious emblem that embodies the club's spirit. Last year, after much internal debate, I decided against engraving the emblem on the sole of the huarache.)
The message engraved on the sole by Okamoto himself is "Take the plunge, Always."
　In life, there are many things that don't go well or as planned, but if you take even one small step, you can change the situation, even if just a little.
This is a self-suggestion from Okamoto to himself, and also a message of respect to those who pick up the huaraches (a new step).
　Additionally, the number "50," Okamoto's number, is engraved using the font from the official uniform.Imagining the happy faces of everyone who will receive them, and earnestly hoping that I can contribute, however humbly, to everyone's healthy and fulfilling lives, I put my heart into designing and creating them!
On land, in the mountains, by the sea, or by the river – with just this one pair, you can go anywhere!
From daily life to running, to outdoor play, bring the natural barefoot time back into your life!
Once you wear them, you can't stop!

Message to those who pick them up
"Feet" are like the "foundation" of a building. A building with a weak or uneven foundation will naturally have various problems. For humans, "feet" are the foundation. There is nothing that would make me happier than if the huaraches you encountered because of your connection with Criacao become an opportunity for you to review or think about your health and a fulfilling life!
