On Friday, March 20 (holiday), a bread-eating race will be held as a special event for "Shinjuku Day 2026" at the "2026 JFL Cup Round 1 Criacao Shinjuku vs ReinMeer Aomori" match at MUFG Stadium (Japan National Stadium). This event is being held with the cooperation of four companies: Kimuraya Sohonten, Shinjuku Takano, Nakamuraya, and Bunmeido Tokyo.

Participants will compete to see who can run to the finish line the fastest after grabbing with their mouth one of the anpan, castella, dorayaki, melon bread, etc. (all bagged) provided by each company, which will be suspended in the middle of an approximately 30m course.

This special experience offers a chance for both children and adults to run seriously and have fun on the stage of the Japan National Stadium, a place not usually accessible, creating memories for families and friends.

・Eligibility: Those who have a ticket for the "2026 JFL Cup Round 1 Criacao Shinjuku vs ReinMeer Aomori" match on the day.
・Capacity: 150 people
*If the number of applicants exceeds the capacity, participants will be selected by lottery.
・Participation fee: Free
*A separate match ticket is required to participate.
・Preschool children must be accompanied by a guardian.
・The stadium tour and running class have overlapping schedules, so you can only participate in one of these events.

Participants will grab with their mouth a bread item (anpan, castella, dorayaki, melon bread, etc. / all bagged) suspended in the middle of an approximately 30m course, and run to the finish line.
